The companies Gedimat De Groote worked out a new construction project that speaks to the imagination. The office building has a very low energy demand for heating thanks to its high compactness and extensive insulation. Only the offices and workshops - together accounting for 5,000 m² of the 11,000 m² large building - are heated. The net energy demand for heating is much lower than the NZE requirements for houses that will enter into effect as of 2021.
For insulating the flat roof, one opted for PIR insulation of UNILIN with gas-tight aluminium facing.
